The Good Life is a ‘debt repayment RPG’ from Swery, the creator of Deadly Premonition and The Missing.
#Monster crown mac series
October 15 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch Inspired by 80s sci-fi horror as well as PS1 aesthetics, the game prominently has you hunting anomalies via audio-driven game mechanics and non-linear exploration. Chasing StaticĬhasing Static is a horror adventure “short story” in which you play as a man trying to discover what happened to the missing villagers of a Welsh town called Hearth. Set in the 1990s, the game lets you manage your character’s daily life, as well as have them explore the city, forge friendships, handle school, and so on. Growing Up is a life sim game in which you craft the life of an individual from their toddler years all the way to adulthood. There’s a lot to do, and you can do it either alone or with a buddy in local co-op. Nira is a sandbox survival game set on procedurally-generated islands, in which you can build, craft, fight, farm, hunt, cook… the list goes on and on and even includes riding alpacas and flying a plane.

You can also breed and fuse the 200+ monsters of the game to create your own species.

You’ll be making pacts with monsters on your journey to stop an evil young woman. Monster Crown is a monster-collecting turn-based RPG in the vein of Pokémon, but with a distinctly darker and more mature world than that series. October 12 on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS5, Switch Apart from Chasing Static, we’ve also got something to scratch your Pokémon itch, as well as Swery’s long-awaited indie game The Good Life. It’s the middle of October, the spookiest month of the year, so needless to say, we’re going to be seeing some spooky indie games showing up in these round-ups. 10 Oct, 2021 This week in indie games, we have the horror adventure Chasing Static, life sim Growing Up, monster-catching RPG Monster Crown, and more.
